AVANTech began in 1999 in Columbia, SC, focusing on wastewater treatment and radioactive waste management. Since its development, AVANTech has designed, manufactured, and initiated operations on over one hundred projects in the United States as well as in over 15 other countries.
In November 2014, operations were expanded by merging with Diversified Technologies Services (DTS), located in Knoxville, TN. Then in July 2018, AVANTech further expanded operations by acquiring Mid Columbia Engineering (MCE) in Richland, WA. Together, all three engineering and fabrication facilities provide a wide range of products and services solving complex problems around the world. Our professionals have hundreds of cumulative years of experience in the nuclear and waste processing industries.
Our systems remediate serious environmental and public health hazards caused by natural disasters and the legacy nuclear weapons programs and keep nuclear power plants operating safely.
We have been selected to solve some of the most complicated, important wastewater issues of our time, including the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant and DOE Hanford Site.
We have many satisfied customers, which has resulted in consistent and reliable growth over the course of our 20-year history.
